ReplyDeleteI'm a medical student in the US, and at times I am embarassed of the names given to certain findings (ie moon facies). And in your daughter's case of "port wine stain." They are often negative, and your daughter's beautiful smile and wonderful expression should warrant a change in the description of this condition. I will remember "port wine stain" as "Hallie's glow". It must be such a difficult journey for your family and especially for you, but I am inspired by your courage and strength.
